This recipe is excellent for making a ‘leftover pie’.

Instead of spooning biscuits onto a cookie sheet, Spread out half of the recipe into a standard pie plate and put a left over stew, or soup over the dough, and cover with the rest. Feel free to double this recipe for thicker crusts or a larger casserole dish.
Delicious with lentil soup, chili or whatever is left over.

Additions to the above recipe can include spices, beans, vegetables, and of course cheese. If your careful about the liquid ratio, go ahead and add some left over soup or chili right into the dough.

May I recommend garlic and rosemary?
